Joan Nay Rare Books

Joan started working at Sam Weller's Zion Book Store–now Weller Book Works–in 1973 in new book inventory. In 1975 she became Sam Weller's assistant in Used and Rare books. Today, she buys and prices used and rare books, does appraisals, and is an Associate Member of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America. She likes researching rare books, and retaining arcane bits of book trivia. Her reading interests vary, but she especially likes mysteries, regional history, and biography. Of her job, she can honestly say she has never been bored.
